Fabric upholstery cleaning
We check the manufacturer's cleaning code first (W, S, WS or X), test for colour-fastness, then use a hand tool with controlled moisture and immediate extraction. Foam and frame stay dry, the fabric comes up clean, and a sofa is normally touch-dry in two to four hours.
Cotton, linen, chenille, velvet, microfibre and most synthetic blends are all fine. Anything marked X is dry-clean only — we use a solvent-free dry compound method for those.
Leather cleaning and conditioning
Leather needs cleaning, not extraction. We remove body oils and surface soil with a pH-correct leather cleaner, then apply a conditioner that restores suppleness and slows cracking at the seams and arm tops — which is always where leather fails first.
